About Shelby County Beekeepers Association
Turning Interest into Action
Here at Shelby County Beekeepers Association, we see the value in this wonderful insect the honeybee. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2011, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Volunteer Organization upon: love for bees, education and the community.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring their own unique perspectives and are willing to take risks. Shelby County Beekeepers Association emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire to share the fascinating world of apis mellifera.
