Angela Tollerson beekeeper and educator in Flathead Valley, Montana will be discussing how beekeeping in a shorter season make each day intentional as Winter lingers closer each day. Later in our meeting we will be voting on next years new officers and board members.

About the event
1st hour Guest Speaker: Angela Tollerson received her diplomas in Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science which she has used to focus on animal and medical studies and data analysis. She has been keeping bees and raising queens in Flathead Valley for 9 years. She received her Master in Beekeeping Certification from the University of Montana in 2020 and teaches beekeeping classes at the community college in Kalipsell, Montana. She has been leading the Flathead Valley Beekeeping Association for 8 years and travels around the valley doing free bee education to nonprofits and schools. Her scientific research paper on Winter Hive Configurations for Northern Climates earned top marks at the university. She also raises South-Australian merino sheep on her 10-acre regenerative farm by the Stillwater river that includes an acre of pollinator habitat.
2nd hour will be be voting on new officers and board members.
